How much do I have to pay in order to participate
in this event?
The general cost to register for this event is
$10 for Fredonia State Students and $15 for anyone else who is not considered a student.(Remember that this registration fee
is non-refundable).
What does my registration fee pay for?
The registration fee pays for your race t-shirt
(if you are pre-registered), funding for the event and any additional money will be placed into the Franklin B.
Krohn Scholarship that has been established.
How do I know where to go on the day of the
event?
The main location for this event will
be in the Thompson Hall parking lot to the right of the main entrance (refer to map in registration packet). We will
also have signs and volunteers that will direct you to the proper location.
Will the event still take place if it is raining/snowing
outside?
Yes this event will be taking place no matter
the weather conditions, so make sure that you dress accordingly!
What time should I arrive on race day (4/13/08)?
Registration and check-in will begin at 10am.
This means anyone who still needs to register can do so. People who have already pre-registered must check-in. The race will
begin at 12 (noon). This means if anyone is late and cannot be processed (registered or checked-in) in time for
the race they will not be able to run. SO MAKE SURE YOU SHOW UP EARLY!
Will there be food and beverages on-site?
We are still in the process of planning for food; however, water will be provided
for the racers during the half-way mark of the event. Please check back for updates!
Will there be rest-rooms?
These there will be two portable restrooms
located by the registration/check-in table that can be used.
Do I have to run in this event or can I walk?
This event is not strictly running. You may either
walk or run.
Will there be a safe place to store my belongings
during my participation in this event?
No, you are responsible for your own belongings.
We will not be responsible for any belongings that are lost or stolen. Make sure to leave important belongings locked in your
car or with someone that you can trust.
If I need to talk with someone or have a question
who do I ask during the event?
There will be several volunteers working during
this event. Volunteers will be wearing white "Franklin B. Krohn Memorial Run" t-shirts and have name tags. All questions can
be directed to them, if they are not sure of an answer direct your question(s) to someone in a blue "Franklin B. Krohn Memorial
Run" t-shirt. The individuals in blue are the event organizers and will be able to answer any questions that you have.
Where can I find a map of the race course/how
long is the course?
The race course map can be found under the tab
on this web page entitled "Race Registration." This race course is 5K or 3.1 miles.
What is considered pre-registration/If I pre-register
will I be guaranteed a t-shirt?
Pre-registered individuals are only those individuals
who have submitted their money and registration form to us by 5pm on Wed. 4/2/08. (This includes all registrations mailed
to us) All pre-registered individuals will be guaranteed a race t-shirt.
If I do not pre-register will I be able to receive
a race t-shirt?
Individuals who do not register by 5pm on 4/2/08
will not be considered "pre-registered." This means that these individuals will not be guaranteed a race t-shirt. We have
ordered additional t-shirts and individuals who receive them will be based on a first-come-first-serve basis.
What is the deadline for mailing in my registration
form and fee?
The last day we are accepting mailed registrations
is Wed. 4/9/08, so make sure that you mail your registration early. If you do not think that you will be able to mail your
registration by the cut off day you can register the day of the event. (Keep in mind that since you are submitting your registration
and fee after 4/2/08 you are not considered "pre-registered" and are not guaranteed a race t-shirt).
